Erika TFFF

Erika is a filly by Lolke 371 Sport. (He has an approved son and many Star and Champion daughters.) and out of Vijmkje our Ster mare who is sired by Rypke 321. She is from Stam line 15, the same as Lolke 371. In addition to Lolke 371, that mare line has produced 5 approvd breeding stallions. Ygram 240, Meindert 263, Gaije, 295, Adel 357, and Tsjalke 397.

Vijmkje gave birth a little too early. As a result Erika, (the name means ever powerful, part of the personality she exhibited at birth) needed a miracle that came in the form of the veterinary team at Kansas State University. They worked with the speed and expertise necessary and after 11 days had saved Erika so she could grow into a stunning Friesian mare.

The result of his first breeding in the USA, she is one of the few Lolke 371 offspring born in the USA! This is a wonderful, rare, and limited opportunity to own one of the first Lolke 371 Sport fillies to be born on US soil.

With a score of 8.6 Erika earned herself an FHS Inspection 1st Premium as well as the title of Grand Champion Filly of North America!

The judge was Judith Warner, a very experienced and knowledgeable USEF Friesian judge. In addition to being the only licensed American Friesian judge who has been to judging sessions in the Netherlands being educated in the center ring at 3 of their Keurings, she also judged the FHANA 2007 World Extravaganza in Springfield, OH.
